Job summary

C & B Operations, LLC, a long-standing dealer with 35 years of growth and thirty-eight John Deere locations, has an opening for a Sales Representative in Plentywood, Montana. The Sales Rep maintains customer relationships, demonstrates equipment, analyzes customer needs, and communicates with management.

Responsibilities include developing relationships, expanding pipelines, prospecting within the territory, creating proposals, researching market trends, and staying current on equipment values

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience
• Experience developing and winning new business in a competitive environment
• Self-driven to actively prospect and close new business opportunities
• Exceptional communication and sales presentation skills
• Relates well to diverse people and builds trusting relationships
• Willingness to travel across the assigned sales territory
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands
• Previous sales knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment and outdoor power equipment preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

C & B Operations, LLC has grown over 35 years to include thirty-eight John Deere dealerships in six states currently has an opening for a Sales Representative at our location in Plentywood, Montana. A Sales Rep maintains sales management information for customers, maintains company vehicles and equipment, conducts new equipment demonstrations, monitors trends in customer’s business activities and provides communication to management, maintains current knowledge of used equipment values and has the ability to evaluate equipment properly for trading purposes, maintains knowledge of financing for the purchase of new and used goods, and attends applicable sales training events/seminars.

• Self-driven to actively prospect, cultivate and close new business opportunities using effective questioning skills to tailor solution benefits to meet prospect needs.
• Exceptional communication and sales presentation skills
• Relates well to all kinds of people and easily builds trusting relationships
• Unwavering integrity and strong work ethic
• Willingness to travel across the assigned sales territory to grow business relationships
• Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Previous sales knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment and outdoor power equipment strongly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
