Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Dual Message Authorization team. You will translate complex system requirements into modular code and contribute to testing, while helping shape development standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and strong C/C++ on Unix experience, socket programming, IPC, and unit testing, with SDLC/STLC knowledge and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with C/C++ on Unix is essential.
• Knowledge of socket programming, IPC, and shared memory is needed.
• Experience with unit test tools and static analysis tools is advantageous.
• ISO 8583 knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

The Dual Message Authorization team is looking for a Software Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. Role

In this software engineer position, You will:

• Translate complex system requirements and specs into elegant design and modular code.

All About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field


• Extensive experience in C, C++ on Unix.


• Experience with socket programming, IPC, Shared memory.


• Experience with Unit test tools, Static code analysis tools, debuggers.


• Payment domain knowledge (ISO 8583) is a definite plus


• Experience in creating, executing and analyzing functional tests based on the requirements


• Experience on SDLC and STLC


• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills


• Strong oral and written communication skills


• Always look for simple potential solutions to solve problems
