Responsibilities

The Project Safety Adviser in Aurora, CO supports specific Data Center project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhancing the overall safety culture.

  • Oversee all aspects of complex electrical structures and construction projects, ensuring OSHA compliance.
  • Consult with executive management on contractor safety plans and ensure their implementation for each project.
  • Review and oversee construction Health & Safety management procedures.
  • Attend safety department and management meetings, training workshops, and daily activity briefings.
  • Oversee all subcontractors and contractors to ensure their competency.
  • Encourage and promote Health & Safety initiatives to influence positive safety behaviors across all projects.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years of construction safety experience with formal qualifications in construction health and safety management.
  • Extensive experience in contractor communication, liaising with design teams, and other project professionals.
  • Advanced experience working on data center or mission-critical builds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Embodies HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, and Accountability.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field.
  • Owner's Representative experience.
  • NFPA 70e certification.
