Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ephrata, PA. The Job Title will support a variety of electrical contracting projects, assisting with installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and public-sector settings. Daily responsibilities may include reading and interpreting plans or schematics, preparing tools and materials, performing hands‑on electrical work under applicable codes, and documenting work performed. The role involves close collaboration with team members, property owners, and contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The Job Title is also expected to follow company safety protocols, maintain a clean work environment, and represent A&M Electric professionally on every job site.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical trade experience, including basic knowledge of installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and proper use of tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as drawings, schematics, and work orders
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team and with clients
• Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn and follow company procedures
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, lifting, and working in various environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in Central Pennsylvania
• Prior experience in residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, or government electrical work is a plus
• Relevant certifications, apprenticeship completion, or vocational training in electrical work are beneficial
