Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard the Franklin campus, its buildings, grounds, and parking areas. You will document and investigate incidents, report violations to Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, and provide rapid response to alarms and health-related situations.
Responsibilities include patrolling, escorting students and staff, handling emergencies, and supporting Clery Act compliance.
This position provides for the protection and safety of all persons, assets, and property on Ivy Tech's Shelbyville campus. Responsible for the security of the campus buildings, grounds, and parking lots. Responsible for documenting and investigating all instances or reports of crime. Responsible for reporting all violations of federal, state, and municipal laws, and all operating policies and procedures of Ivy Tech Community College to Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness (PSEP).
**This officer will be working on Ivy Tech's Franklin campus.**
