Hiring! Patient Care Coordinator

Fulltime: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Mon – Fri

Pay rate: $18.00 to $22.50 per hour.

Yanke Bionics, a leader in the prosthetics and orthotics industry, has several full-time openings for Patient Care Coordinators in our Akron Ohio location. The Patient Care Coordinator works to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for our patients! Responsibilities:

• Conducting intake interviews, verify benefits, co-pays and complete eligibility forms and income verification with applicants
• Accurately code patient encounters and correctly calculate payments per insurance.
• Complete check out process including scheduling follow up appointments.
• Act as receptionist, answer telephone, relays message and make calls.
• Print daily schedules for clinicians and prepare charts for next day.
• Verify dictation is completed, signed, and dated with charge ticket codes that match the IVF.
• Effectively utilize the Medflex system for registration, overall records entries, updates, and document management throughout the patient experience process.
• Maintain status reports for follow up appointments.
• Process requests for fits and labs requests.
• Daily perform accurate and efficient charting post appointment and in preparation next day charts
• Must be able to work under pressure to meet imposed deadlines and take appropriate actions.
• Perform other duties as needed.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years experience in a high volume medical office setting
• A strong work ethic, including attendance.
• Awareness of HIPAA
• Must be able to work as a team
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
• Proficiency with clerical skills.
• Proficiency in calculating discounts and percentages.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills, good judgment
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite email and Teams or related software.
