Job description

Overview

LOCATIONS: Northern Arizona Region - (Taylor & Show Low) - Some out of state travel might be required

DUTIES:

  • Perform major and minor repairs on equipment.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment, trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain parts inventory and accurate records of repairs performed on equipment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Determine equipment condition by conducting inspection and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts.
  • Complete preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment available for use.
  • Verify equipment performance by operating equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by OSHA, MSHA and company policy.
  • Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar position.
  • CDL required.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to take instruction well from management, demonstrating attention to detail, and active listening skills with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Must be able to work in a field and shop environment with little to no supervision.
  • Must be able to work in all degrees of weather.
  • Must prioritize safety by adhering to all safety rules.

The successful candidate must be safety conscious with a record of working safely in the workplace.
