Service technicians are responsible for keeping our customers systems functioning properly. This is critical for customers to protect their homes and businesses. The job has a lot of variety and includes everything from adding devices, to troubleshooting programming to changing batteries.Cunningham needs technicians with skillsets in both intrusion and fire. We have a variety of technologies in both lines of business so the wider your skillset the better.As a face of the company, it is important that you have both good technical skills and good customer service skills. Politeness and a clean and neat presentation are key.What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot system issues and identify programming errors.
• Install or add devices to existing systems.
• Diagnose and repair wiring and communication problems.
• Respond to service calls and critical trouble alerts.
• Change system batteries and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain detailed records of service, materials, and findings.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Cunningham with professionalism.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience as a security/fire alarm service technician.
• NICET certification required.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be able to lift up to 80lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Clean background check and valid driver’s license.
