Job summary

Crescent Hospice in Anderson, SC is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide hands-on care to patients at the end of life, supporting physical, emotional, and personal needs under the guidance of our nursing team.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, an active CNA license in the state, CPR, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of CNA experience in acute or long-term care (hospice experience a plus).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Holds current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum one year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience a plus.
• CPR certification required if state-mandated.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care and address patient and family requests with compassion.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, oral hygiene, bedding changes, dressing, and grooming to maintain comfort and dignity.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort.
• Support families by sharing knowledge and assisting in caregiving for terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain accurate documentation in home care and agency records.

Are you a caring and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact? Crescent Hospiceis seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with our nursing team, you’ll ensure each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm

Coverage Area: Anderson, Oconee, Pickens

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.


• Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments contributes significantly to their overall comfort and dignity.


• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction. Your dedication to providing outstanding care will be valued and celebrated as part of our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.


• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.


• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!


• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated


• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
