Overview

Position: Driver (CDL-A)

Area: Denver, CO

Location: Franklin Yard

Wage Range: $26 to $28 per hour

Company Overview

W.W. CLYDE is seeking a Driver with a Class A CDL to join our Transportation team in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

1. Operate construction trucks in a safe and efficient manner, on and off highway
2. Manage trucks including side dump, belly dump, lowboy, etc.
3. Complete required driver logs & recordkeeping
4. Perform daily inspections and advise supervisor of repairs and maintenance needed
5. Read and understand operation manuals for trucks and equipment
6. Recognize risks and hazards on the job site, working near heavy equipment and crew members
7. Assist and collaborate with other construction crew members
8. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required
• Familiarity with DOT regulations & current CDL & DOT medical card
• Insurable driving record
• Heavy civil construction, road building, and earthwork experience preferred
• Attention to safety and commitment to safe practices
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 20 pounds
