Job summary

Work World in Reno, NV is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and support the Store Manager.

You'll supervise staff, handle scheduling, open/close procedures, and ensure excellent customer service while meeting sales goals. The role requires at least 2 years in retail, a high school diploma, and ability to lift 25 pounds and climb ladders. Bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
• Able to climb a ladder and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Standing for long periods; ability to perform physical tasks.
• Bi-lingual a plus; prior assistant manager experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist training all store personnel.
• Schedule opposite shifts of the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned by the Store Manager.
• Open and close the store.
• Prepare bank deposits and drop at bank.
• Buy change for store as needed.
• Process merchandise shipments.
• Keep store neat and clean at all times.
• Ring sales on cash register per agency guidelines.
• Greet customers and answer phones.
• Assist customers in finding items.

Schedule: Full-time -- (Must be available nights & weekends)

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)
