As part of our growing team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our clients navigate immigration laws effectively as they hire and manage talent across borders. We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking immigration lawyer to join our team to support both our internal legal framework and the broader needs of our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal support to clients by understanding their immigration needs and offering tailored advice to help them navigate the complexities of hiring internationally. Assist with ensuring compliance with immigration regulations across multiple jurisdictions and provide exceptional client service.
• Evaluate clients’ business models and offer insights on how their immigration strategy aligns with their hiring and operational goals. Provide strategic immigration advice for international businesses, assessing workforce needs from a legal standpoint, and advising on immigration pathways.
• Support clients through inspection processes, offering guidance on preparing for audits or inspections from immigration authorities. Advise on documentation, compliance requirements, and risk areas to ensure smooth operations across countries.
• Develop clear, engaging, and accurate content outlining immigration processes, legal requirements, and business strategies for employers hiring in various countries. This content will serve as a resource for Deel’s clients, keeping them informed about immigration laws, work permits, and visa processes globally.
• Coordinate with internal teams and legal professionals in various countries to provide seamless legal support. Ensure immigration processes align with different legal frameworks and maintain a smooth workflow for clients.
• Stay informed about trends, changes, and developments in immigration laws worldwide. Regularly update Deel’s immigration policies and legal guidelines to provide the best advice.
• Prepare and draft application submissions and appeals as needed.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.), LLB, or LLM with admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction. Strong specialization and experience in immigration law are required.
• Proven experience providing immigration legal advice to large businesses, especially in remote workforce settings.
• Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and create engaging content for international clients.
• Experience working with international clients and understanding cultural diversity.
• Familiarity with legal research tools, case management software, and technology platforms used in remote work environments.
