US Eye, Retina Health Center in Naples, FL, is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant to support ophthalmologists by performing eye-related clinical tasks, taking patient histories, and preparing patients for examinations. The role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and excellent communication to ensure a smooth workflow in a busy retina practice.

You will assist with patient procedures, perform diagnostic testing, and provide information that helps the doctors diagnose and treat eye conditions.

Job Summary

Retina Health Center is looking for Ophthalmology professionals as well as people that are looking to make a career change and would like to join our fabulous growing team. An Ophthalmic Assistant works with the ophthalmologists to provide patient care by performing many different eye-related clinical functions. Ophthalmic Assistants help care for patients by taking histories, performing various procedures and tests, and preparing patients to see the doctor. Their work provides the ophthalmologists with important information to help diagnose and treat patients.

Competencies

• Excellent customer service skills are a must!
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support a busy Ophthalmic Retina practice
• Assist with patient procedures
• Perform Ophthalmic tasks and diagnostic testing

Education And Experience

Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work

• This is a part-time position located in Naples, FL
• Travel to both locations as necessary.
