Are you a people person, problem solver, and community connector who loves helping others succeed?
In this role, you’ll build relationships with local businesses, connect individuals with meaningful employment opportunities, and provide the support they need to get the job, learn the job, and thrive on the job!
You’ll serve as a coach, advocate, resource, and cheerleader—helping individuals build independence, strengthen workplace skills, and reach their full potential.
Connect People With Opportunities
Get to know each individual—their strengths, abilities, interests, and goals—and help create a plan that supports successful employment and community involvement.
Find the Right Fit
Match individual skills and abilities with career opportunities in the community. Build relationships with employers and help them discover how the right employee can make a difference on their team.
Set Employees Up for Success
Work alongside employers to identify training needs and help individuals develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. This may include recommending adaptive equipment, mentoring, additional instruction, or other workplace supports.
Build a Strong Support System
Help develop natural supports both on and off the job. From transportation and workplace connections to community resources, you’ll help create a network that encourages independence and long-term success.
Keep the Details on Track
Complete accurate and timely documentation needed for services and billing. This may include job success plans, situational assessments, benefits analyses, disciplinary analyses, and other required documentation.
Know the Rules & Resources
Understand and follow DRS, DDS and Home of Hope requirements, contracts, and performance expectations while staying current on regulatory changes and best practices.
Celebrate Growth & Independence
Above all, help each individual work toward their maximum potential, independence, and self-determination.
You’re Not Just Helping Someone Find a Job.
You’re helping someone discover their strengths, build confidence, gain greater independence, and become an active part of their community.
A big part of that journey is helping each person identify barriers that may affect their success and develop the skills and strategies needed to overcome them.
That Might Mean Building
Every skill you teach, every barrier you help overcome, and every success you celebrate helps someone become more confident, capable, and independent.
You’re not just helping someone get a job—you’re helping them build the skills to succeed, grow, and create a future they can be proud of.
Connect. Advocate. Encourage. Empower.
Because meaningful employment can change a life.
