Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is hiring a Job Coach II to provide individualized support to clients at competitive employment sites across San Diego County. You’ll help clients learn job skills, adapt to work environments, and achieve long-term employment success.

Responsibilities include providing one-on-one coaching, building job skills, monitoring progress, and collaborating with employers and case managers. Valid CA driver’s license preferred; CPR/First Aid training provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certification training provided.

About the Role:

We are hiring aJob Coach II to provide individualized support to clients at competitive employment sites across San Diego County. In this role, you’ll help clients learn job skills, adapt to their work environments, and achieve long-term employment success.

Location: San Diego County and MCRD

Schedule: Open availability, schedule varies on case load and clients work schedules.

Pay: The pay for this position is $21.50 to $21.50.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one-on-one job coaching and workplace training
• Assist clients in building job skills and meeting employer expectations
• Support workplace integration and social skill development
• Monitor job performance and provide feedback
• Document progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with employers, case managers, and support networks

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and coaching skills
• CPR & First Aid certification (training provided)
• Valid CA driver’s license and auto insurance preferred
