Job summary

Universal Mental Health Services is seeking a Job Coach to support people with disabilities in Burke County and surrounding areas. You will provide job coaching, on-the-job training, and individualized support to help clients achieve employment goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in a human services, business, or related field preferred.
• Previous job coaching or supported employment experience preferred.
• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; some evenings, nights, and weekends may be required during job training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

• Work one-on-one with individuals to identify vocational interests, skills, and employment goals
• Assist with resume development, job searching, applications, interviewing, and job placement
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to help individuals learn job duties and succeed in the workplace

• Help individuals identify and overcome barriers to employment
• Build relationships with local businesses and employers to support job development efforts
