The supported Employment Services Program is looking for a full-time Job Coach to provide employment supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Job Coach instructs their assigned individuals in the work skills and behaviors needed to complete and be successful in their job.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Instruct assigned individuals in the work skills and behaviors needed to complete and be successful in the job.
  2. Ensure the quality of work being done meets the standards of the business.
  3. Maintain accurate daily production records for assigned individuals.
  4. Participate in ongoing training programs to improve skills.
  5. Participate in staff meetings.
  6. Participate in vocational assessment of assigned individuals.
  7. Participate in the development and implementation of training materials.
  8. Develop and implement job accommodations as needed.
  9. Participate in job development activities.
  10. Act as agency representative to contracting businesses.
  11. Escort, assist and/or transport individuals as needed.
  12. Substitute for co-workers' vacations, sick and other planned/unplanned absences from work or other necessary staffing but not to exceed 40 hours per week unless otherwise approved by the supervisor.
  13. Support individuals in the exploration of landscaping and maintenance.
QUALIFICATION:
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Ability to escort, assist and/or transport individuals.
  3. Ability to work with developmentally disabled people.
  4. Ability to communicate and work with others.
  5. Ability to follow directions.
  6. A qualifying criminal background check, driving record and a valid driver’s license are also required.
