VPI is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to provide vocational and programmatic support to program participants at community-based work sites and at VPI locations.

You will help individuals reach their goals, support independence, develop relationships with employers and service providers, and transport clients to and from worksites as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; related experience is preferred, but training is available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transport clients to and from worksites.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work performed includes sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, stooping, lifting/carrying (up to 50 pounds without assistance), pushing/pulling, reaching below shoulder level, and reaching overhead. Functions are considered light to moderate according to the US Bureau of Labor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience is preferred, but VPI is willing to train.
