Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a qualified architectural professional for a full-time position in Phoenix. You will lead project coordination across all phases, support design development, and assist with construction administration and code analysis.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in architecture, Revit proficiency, and a background in retail projects. Bachelor’s in Architecture is preferred or equivalent experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Architecture.
• Experience working on retail projects strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is preferred; however, equivalent related experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project to deliver contract documents for permits and construction.
• Provide Revit support for the preparation of project documents.
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect in the preparation of project schedules and review of budgets.
• Provide assistance for submittals for jurisdiction agencies.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members.

Your Role

• Lead the project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project (typical; Site planning, Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Document and Construction Administration) to deliver a set of contract documents that will be used for permits and construction
• Provide Revit support for the preparation of project documents
• Utilize the company's resource groups for design
• Preparation of design and construction documents
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.)
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect in the preparation of project schedules and review of budgets
• Provide assistance for submittals for jurisdiction agencies
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the field of Architecture
• Experience working on retail projects strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is preferred; however, equivalent related experience will also be considered
• Revit skills
• Knowledge of building codes
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents

This is a full-time, long-term position.
