Job summary

PKA Architecture in Minneapolis is seeking a Job Captain for our Uptown studio. The role focuses on coordinating and producing construction drawings, managing staff, and ensuring project constructability from schematic design through detailing.

You will work directly with Principals and Project Architects, handling multi-project coordination and CA submittals, with exposure to high-end residential and boutique commercial work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in high end residential design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Managing the production of drawing sets and coordinating the work of other designers providing drafting on projects.
• Specifications of products and integration into drawing sets.
• Material and product research and selection.
• Drafting and drawing set production on various projects of various sizes.
• Coordination with outside consultants and incorporation of their work into our drawings.
• 3d modeling for both iterative design purposes as well as for documentation and rendering.
