Job summary

Architecture Design Collaborative (ADC) is seeking both emerging and experienced Job Captains to contribute to fast-paced project teams, advance construction drawings through all phases, and adapt documentation for various project types with proper codes and accessibility considerations.

Ideal candidates are proactive, motivated, and capable of mentoring peers while delivering high-quality work and maintaining client and city agency communications. Travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of continuous experience in a relevant market sector (Retail, Hospitality, Commercial, etc.).
• Architectural degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality control and organization.

JOB CAPTAIN (JOB CAPTAIN I, II SENIOR JOB CAPTAIN)

Architecture Design Collaborative (ADC) is seeking both emerging and experienced Job Captains who thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. We are looking for proactive, responsive, highly motivated individuals who are both creative thinkers and reliable doers. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, capable of mentoring peers, and committed to long‑term career growth within the firm. They bring ambition, strong problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to every project.

Role Overview

The ideal Job Captain has the technical ability and professional judgment to independently advance a full set of drawings through all project phases. This includes developing and adapting a construction set to a specific project type (Ground-up, Façade, TI)with accurate documentation, appropriate dimensions, keynotes, and labels. Candidates must have a solid understanding of applicable building codes and accessibility requirements. Construction Admin experience is highly desired.
