Data Architect (focused on Snowflake)
General Description
We are looking for a Senior Architect with strong Data experience to join our team working for EMEA clients. In this position, you will lead the design of software solutions, working closely with teams in the EU, Brazil, and other Latin American countries.
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 3 years experience with Snowflake data platform (setting up warehouses, users, credentials, objects, stages, tasks);
- Solid experience in architecture design and technical leadership;
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines, data lakes, data meshes, and other data products;
- Ability to understand, question, prioritize, and translate business problems into data solutions (BI, Analytics, models, machine learning);
- Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS);
- Experience identifying, gathering, and prioritizing Non-Functional Requirements, technical pain points, and environment constraints;
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Microsoft Data Factory or Apache Airflow;
- Experience scaling data workloads using platforms such as Hadoop and Spark;
- Experience with CI/CD and MLOps pipelines;
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code;
- Experience collaborating with pre-sales, presenting data solutions, and demonstrating capabilities to non-technical audiences;
- Ability to create proof of concepts and develop complex mechanisms (preferably using Python);
- Willingness to learn new technologies daily;
- Ability to share knowledge with junior team members.
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading technically the team and enabling data scientists and engineers to build and maintain data products;
- Visiting European clients periodically to bootstrap projects and build relationships;
- Working on diverse projects across various domains;
- Participating in design and architecture discussions;
- Collaborating with strategy, customer experience, product, and program management teams;
- Ensuring solutions follow security and performance best practices;
- Creating and maintaining documentation;
- Aligning technical solutions with client requirements;
- Ensuring a stable and productive development environment.

- Non-functional requirements (performance, security, privacy, GDPR);
- Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, and Clean Code;
- Testing (unit, integration, E2E);
