Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking personnel for sanitation and housekeeping duties at our production facility in Michigan. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a hygienic environment to support safe production operations.

Responsibilities include following GMP protocols, using cleaning agents, and collaborating with the team to meet daily targets. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in varying temperatures and shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous sanitation or housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
• High integrity required.

Responsibilities

• Foaming and scrubbing of production equipment, floors, walls, etc. (wet clean) according to pre-determined set of procedures.
• Work with pre-mixed chemical cleaning agents to clean, sanitize, and return production facility to operation.
• Sanitize all surfaces post clean for production runs.
• Interior infrastructure cleaning of production and non-production areas.
• Be responsible for self-check of work prior to official pre-op inspection.
• Participate in Pre-Operation inspections of the equipment after the clean.
• Help maintain a Safe and Food Safe environment through teamwork and proper food sanitation training.
• Sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and cafeterias.
• Sweep and mop.
• Work closely with other team members to assure a good quality clean production surface.
• Assist other team members on food production line—teamwork is a necessity for completion of all projected work.
• Maintain and follow GMP protocols.
• Lockout equipment being worked on.
• Wear provided PPE when necessary/directed for the completion of work.

Regular Schedule

• Monday: You Will be required to come to work twice a day
• 1:00 a.m. – 5:30 a.m.
• 9:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. (following day)
• Tuesday through Thursday:
• 9:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.
• Friday:
• 4:00 pm – 8: 30 pm
• Saturday:
• Subject to change based on operational needs

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Must have the ability to work with other crew members
