RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a JIRA Business Analyst in Atlanta, GA.

Summary:

This assignment combines technical JIRA administration with cross-functional project orchestration to enable scalable, data-driven marketing execution. The contractor will lead JIRA operations, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless collaboration across marketing, media, and tech teams. Goal of this resource is to clean up their JIRA incidents, drive improvements and hierarchies as well as support the ongoing enhancements.

Assignment Responsibilities:

JIRA Administration & Optimization:

Own all aspects of JIRA: project setup, permissions, workflows, custom fields, automation, and integrations (Confluence, Slack, etc.)
Streamline and evolve JIRA processes to improve team collaboration, visibility, and delivery efficiency

Project Orchestration:

Partner with internal stakeholders to drive planning and execution of strategic marketing initiatives (campaigns, programs, events)
Ensure alignment on scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables using JIRA as the operational backbone

Reporting & Communication:

Build and maintain JIRA dashboards and custom reports to monitor KPIs and execution status
Deliver insights and updates to leadership and stakeholders to support transparency and data-informed decisions
Provide JIRA user support and training across teams
Document workflows, templates, and best practices to scale platform adoption

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years in operations, strategy, or project management, ideally in a marketing or tech-driven environment
Hands-on JIRA admin experience, ideally in cross-functional Agile settings
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities
Familiar with Confluence, Miro, and automation/scripting tools (e.g., Groovy, Python) is nice to have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
