Job summary

GCyber in Arlington, VA seeks a JIRA Administrator to support a high-profile DISA customer, configuring dashboards, workflows, permissions, and integrations to streamline cloud deployments and collaboration.

You will analyze, document, and improve Jira functionality, manage incident data and analytics, and ensure security and plug-in compatibility. Requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD IAT II, 3+ years with Atlassian, and BA/BS with 4–8 years experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (i.e., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+)
• BA/BS Degree and 4-8 years prior relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience with the Atlassian product suite, focusing on JIRA as an administrator.
• Scripting experience (e.g. bash, python, perl) desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and improve current Jira functionality, researching and applying industry best practices.
• Administer applications and systems, including backups, scheduled jobs, and testing of new tool versions and plug-ins for compatibility.
• Manage and optimize JIRA projects, workflows, filters, dashboards, permissions, security, and integrations with external plug-ins.
• Oversee user permissions and access for JIRA, Confluence, and related tools to support project and team needs.
• Manage incident ticket data, reporting, and analytics while communicating and sharing knowledge across stakeholders.
