HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Counter-Proliferation Analyst to support the United States Forces Korea (USFK), Assistant Chief of Staff, J2 (ACofS, J2) JIOC-K in their mission to provide timely intelligence to Commander, USFK and Combined Forces Command, the combined battle staff, and war fighter component commanders!

The JIOC-K's efforts focus on detecting enemy threats, managing intelligence, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) activities, analyzing enemy actions and information to determine enemy's probable courses of action.

The overall analytic effort strengthens Defense Intelligence and provides relevant, timely, objective, and cogent all source Defense Intelligence to the Commander and other users, and transforming theater intelligence activities to better leverage the capabilities of the theater and global intelligence communities and safeguard United States personnel and interests within the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO). What you will do
  • Performs all-source analytical production on foreign conventional, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare programs primarily in support of U.S. counter-proliferation efforts and designates needs for collection activities supporting operational and tactical intelligence priorities and responses to counter-proliferation operations
  • Produces analytical assessments for the IC, DOD, and other U.S. and allied Government agencies and coalition forces on counter-proliferation, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare topics, arms control, exploitation program planning, development, and execution
  • Performs supply chain vulnerability analysis as well as procurement needs for conventional, missile, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare programs
  • Maps and performs analysis of formal and informal transfers in support of adversary counter-proliferation activities
  • Prepares and integrates counter-proliferation data from all available sources to support counter-proliferation actions
  • Conducts all-source analysis, principally focused on counter-proliferation activities and economic factors, that aid adversary support for development of weapon systems, missile systems, and WMD
  • Facilitates updates of data for entry and retrieval in support of coordinated prioritization of community efforts and maintenance to correct USFK/J2 identified order-of-battle (OOB) systems and correction of MIDB/MARS deficiencies
  • Collaborates with INDOPACOM, Services, IC and DIA production personnel to coordinate and synchronize all-source threat OOB production for foundational intelligence with subject-matter-expertise (SME) areas
  • Serves as SME on intelligence related conferences, meetings, exercises, and working groups
  • Tracks and coordinates intelligence production requirements
  • Processes, analyzes, and consolidates Requests for Information (RFI)
  • Additional duties as assigned or required
What we are looking for
  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
  • Able to surge support during 2exercises per year
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, with the continued ability to obtain a Poly
  • Bachelors with 8 years of experience preferred
  • Recent applicable experience within the last 2 years also preferred
  • Intelligence experience and/or operation support in Korea or other active theaters
  • Experience with the bi-lateral (ROK-US) Korean environment
  • Familiar with the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA)
Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
