Job Purpose:

To provide world-class customer service to Jimmy John’s customers by delivering FREAKY FAST sandwiches. Impress your manager with your personality and service, and your coworkers with your team-player attitude.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive responsibly, obey all traffic laws
2. Work as an in-shop team member when not delivering
3. Follow Team Member Handbook Policies and Procedures
4. Maintain and foster company culture
5. Prepare and make sandwiches (pull meat, prepare veggies, bake bread)
6. Maintain store cleanliness and food safety
7. Ensure workplace and equipment safety

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+
• Must be listed as a driver on auto insurance for the vehicle used for deliveries
• Must be passionate about sandwiches
• Must be coachable, energetic, enthusiastic, confident, and charismatic
• Must memorize the Jimmy John’s menu within 14 days and pass the test
• Must have a valid drivers license and state-required Food Handlers Card for CA and AZ
• Must be eligible for a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Working Conditions:

Work in a moderately loud, fast-paced environment. Be able to avoid distractions and apply safety practices while using slicers, knives, and ovens.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for the duration of the shift
• Lift up to 30 lbs
• Climb ladders if needed

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position. We welcome military-experienced candidates, those without a high school diploma or GED, and individuals with resume gaps or returning to the workforce. All ages are encouraged to apply, and no college diploma is required.
