• Responsible for supervision of the Broadcast Production staff and on-air output.
• Handle weekly payroll and write performance evaluations.
• Direct live shows as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for overall supervision of the Broadcast Production staff and on-air output within a 24/7 live environment.
• Oversee schedule assignments of the Television Production staff.
• Handle weekly payroll.
• Write and administer performance evaluations of Directors, Technical Directors, Assistant Directors, Graphics Operators, and Production Technicians, and oversee the administration of evaluations for all staff within the department.
• Communicate and develop blocking for studio cameras in conjunction with the Lighting Director.
• Coordinate with Training Supervisor to onboard new employees and mentor experienced crew members.
• Coordinate backfilling crew call-offs and help ensure coverage for live shows.
• Write disciplinary actions, from verbal warnings to terminations.
• Conduct interviews and hire new production personnel.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure all elements are ready for upcoming shows.
• Direct live shows as needed.
