Jewelry Consultant - Bethesda, MD

Our Jewelry Consultants provide an exceptional experience for every Brilliant Earth customer. As a Jewelry Consultant, you will guide customers through their purchase journey via in-person and virtual appointments, phone, or live chat. You will assist customers in finding their perfect jewelry match from our luxury product line. By meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment, you will create personalized experiences and share the happiest moments of our customers' lives. The ideal candidate will be able to work a full-time schedule that includes weekends. This role is in-person at our Bethesda, MD showroom.

The targeted pay for this position is $23/hour, which may be adjusted at the company's discretion.

What you’ll do:

  • Use sales strategies and product knowledge to guide customers through purchasing decisions, creating memorable, personalized experiences.
  • Manage high volumes of sales inquiries via email, chat, and phone to meet revenue targets, providing a luxury customer experience.
  • Greet and assist customers throughout the purchasing process, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Conduct post-sale appointments for pick-ups, exchanges, and re-sizing, and assist with customer inquiries.
  • Confirm showroom appointments and answer pre-appointment questions.
  • Review customer feedback and online reviews to improve service and sales performance.
  • Enforce policies in the waiting area to ensure safety and security.
  • Open and close the showroom and waiting area as needed.
  • Use our ERP system to manage tasks and communicate with team members.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting our mission of a sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry.
