Job summary

Tiffany & Co. is hiring a Jewelry Washer in Whippany, NJ. You will clean, inspect, and prepare jewelry merchandise using wash lines, ultrasonic units, and steam equipment, ensuring quality before moving to servicing or fulfillment.

Work closely with polishing, engraving, stock repair, distribution, and quality teams to maintain production efficiency and a safe work environment while tracking activity and completing documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a technical, manufacturing, production, or servicing environment.
• Attention to detail with commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to follow procedures, learn new processes, and adapt to priorities.
• Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
• Independent work capability with cross-functional support.
• Overtime, evenings, weekends, and peak periods may be required.
• Lift up to 35 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and process Tiffany & Co. merchandise using wash lines, ultrasonic units, steam, and other approved cleaning technologies.
• Ensure efficient processing while upholding Tiffany & Co. quality and craftsmanship standards.
• Inspect merchandise for defects, residue, or servicing concerns before release to the next stage.
• Maintain productivity and accurately process workload to support turnaround goals.
• Track production activity and complete required documentation for reporting.
• Partner with polishers, hand engravers, stock repair, and other teams to support daily production.
• Provide logistical and administrative support to move merchandise through servicing.
• Maintain organized workstations and promote efficient production flow.
• Operate and monitor wash line, ultrasonic, steam, and related cleaning equipment.
• Report equipment concerns and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Monitor supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
