Job summary

Tiffany and Company is seeking a Jewelry CAD Designer for our Jewelry Design and Innovation Workshop (JDIW) in New York City. The role focuses on translating design concepts into robust CAD models and technical drawings across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and engineering teams, drive CAD workflows, and lead tool-specific solutions to support cross-functional partners. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge jewelry technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Arts, Industrial or Fashion Design, or Engineering.
• Significant CAD and model making training and experience.
• Expert skill-set, with high effectiveness and efficiency in Rhino, Modo, SolidWorks, T-Splines, Z-Brush, Adobe CS, KeyShot, V-Ray, Maxwell.
• Manufacturing knowledge of jewelry and/or other related industries.
• Formal creative design training with high aesthetic sensibility.
• Extensive experience with diverse materials and gemstones/diamonds.
• Experience building and troubleshooting metalsmithing processes while maintaining design integrity.
• Strong team player with professionalism and ability to meet urgent timelines.

Responsibilities

• Interface with design and manufacturing teams on product functionality, form, and materials.
• Translate design concepts into CAD models and 3D prototypes.
• Plan, create, and maintain 3D FG CAD models and technical drawings.
• Ensure models meet modeling best practices and manufacturing standards.
• Prepare finished drawings and technical illustrations for new concepts and line extensions.
• Provide CAD direction on construction and fabrication methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet creative and business needs.
• Develop and improve CAD workflows and share best practices.
