Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a Jetter Operator to direct the operation of the Jetter Truck. The ideal candidate will operate high-pressure jetting equipment to clean, maintain, and inspect pipes and drainage systems, while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires a valid state driver license, the ability to pass background checks and drug screen, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver License with clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Previous experience as a Jetting Operator or in a similar role.
• Ability to pass criminal background and MVR checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure jetting equipment to clean pipes, sewers, and drainage systems.
• Operate Jetter truck and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Jetter Operation.
• Inspect and maintain jetting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during operations.
• Perform Pre and post trip inspections, as well as routine maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisor, and clients.
• Complete all required paperwork properly and within set timelines.
• Assist with other related tasks as needed.

Essential Functions:

The Jetter Operator is responsible in directing the operation of the Jetter Truck. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating high-pressure jetting equipment to clean, maintain, and inspect pipes and drainage systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate high-pressure jetting equipment to clean pipes, sewers, and drainage systems.
• Operate Jetter truck and equipment in a safe and professional manner
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Jetter Operation

• Knowledge of basic underground utilities
• Skilled in Operating heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safely
• Ability to use time and equipment to complete projects on time
• Mapping and Print Reading

• Strong Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with jetting equipment
• Strong Communication Skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Experience and Education:

• Valid State Driver License with clean driving record; CDL preferred
• Previous experience as a Jetting Operator or in a similar role.

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
