Job summary

Insituform in Lexington, KY is hiring a Jet Vac Truck Operator to install underground utilities using heavy equipment.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL and at least two years in trenchless installation, with experience Vac Truck operation. A clean MVR and willingness to work outdoors are required. Starting pay is $24.00–$27.00 per hour, with a $4,000 sign-on bonus for CDL holders and bonus options for non-CDL applicants. Benefits and per diem are provided.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in trenchless installation, including Vac Truck operation.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Regularly lift up to 75 pounds and wear PPE in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough check-ups and safety sweeps of equipment.
• Set up trench shoring systems for projects.
• Tackle sewer systems, storm drains, water mains or force mains.
• Follow Foreman/Superintendent directions and use assigned equipment.
• Maintain clear communication with crew and supervisors.
• Operate excavator equipment with safety and efficiency.
• Monitor all steps to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Be adaptable to additional duties as needed.
