Job summary

Esposito Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Jet Vac Operator to join the team in New Jersey. You will operate jet/vac trucks to clean sewer lines, storm drains, and related wastewater systems while adhering to safety standards and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities include truck inspections, debris removal using high-pressure jets and vac systems, and coordinating with teammates to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements required.
• Proven experience operating jet/vac trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with wastewater systems, sewer maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and safety protocol adherence.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate jet/vac trucks to clean and maintain sewer lines, storm drains, catch basins, and other wastewater systems.
• Safely navigate to job sites and operate equipment in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections of jet/vac trucks, ensuring proper maintenance and reporting any issues.
• Operate high-pressure water jets and vacuum systems to remove debris, roots, and blockages from pipelines.
• Work closely with team members to coordinate and complete tasks efficiently.
• Properly dispose of wastewater and debris collected during cleaning operations in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure effective operation.
• Document work performed, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors, clients, and colleagues regarding job progress and any concerns.
