Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Day Jet Vac Operator (CDL-B) for our Houston, TX operation. The role requires safe operation of Jet Vac and vacuum equipment on assigned routes, with duties including pre/post-trip inspections and paperwork.

Minimum qualifications include a CDL-B with DOT medical card, Tanker endorsement, and 1 year of DOT driving experience. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay and a minimal travel requirement, with benefits and a strong safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year DOT driving experience preferred, waste & recycling experience a plus.
• CDL-B license with DOT medical card.
• Endorsement Tanker required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass MVR, background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure safety features are functional.
• Safely operate Jet Vac truck and vacuum equipment on assigned routes.
• Handle materials safely and dispose per procedures.
• Complete logs and forms accurately and on time.
• Communicate professionally with team, supervisors, and clients.
