Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) in Hermitage, TN is hiring a Jet Vac Operator (CDL-B) for a full-time role. You will operate a Jet Vac truck to clean storm drains, basins, and drainage systems, supporting public safety and environmental goals.

The position requires a CDL-B, DOT Medical Card, a tanker endorsement, and at least 1 year of DOT driving experience in waste/recycling services. Travel is high (51%+) and shifts vary.

Qualifications

Education: High School or GED.
Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience - waste & recycling services preferred.
License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
Endorsements: Tanker.
Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and pass MVR, background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
Review routes, complete jobs within allotted timeframe with quality.
Operate Jet Vac truck and vacuum equipment safely.
Handle materials safely and dispose at approved sites.
Report equipment issues or safety concerns within 30 minutes.
Maintain professional communication with team and clients.
Complete required logs, manifests, and forms.
