Job summary

National Industrial Maintenance – Michigan, based in Dearborn, MI, seeks a Jet-Vac CDL Operator to join the union workforce. The ideal candidate holds CDL A or B with Tanker and Airbrake endorsements and is willing to operate outdoors in demanding conditions.

You will safely operate equipment, monitor processing operations, and maintain records. Weekly pay starts at $28.09 per hour base, with union fringes and Local 324 membership.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A or B with Tanker and Airbrake endorsements.
• Ability to pass MVR, DOT drug screen and physical.
• Willingness/ability to enter confined spaces for cleaning and inspection.
• Willing to work outside in demanding conditions.
• Ability to do heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all equipment.
• Monitoring and controlling the processing operations.
• Maintaining records of operations such as hourly operating data and abnormal operation conditions.
• Performing daily inspections and required preventative equipment maintenance through daily greasing, tightening, and changing of filters.
• Cleaning equipment inside and outside daily and perform cleanup
• Initiating emergency procedures to ensure safety and prevent damage to plant and equipment.
• Document and report any malfunctions or unsafe conditions.

Pay (Union Scale): Base Pay $28.09 per hour (+Union Fringes)

Union: Employees will become members of Operating Engineers Local 324

Job Duties

• Safely operate all equipment.
