Responsibilities

PositionSummary

Rabe Plumbing & Heating is seeking a skilled and reliable Jetting Technician to perform high-pressure water jetting and drain/sewer cleaning services for residential and commercial customers. This role is responsible for clearingblockages, cleaning sewer and drain lines, and diagnosing pipe issues using hydro-jetting equipment and camera inspection tools. The ideal candidate takes pride in clean, thorough work, communicates professionally with customers, and operatesequipmentsafely.

KeyResponsibilities

• Operate high-pressure hydro-jetting equipment to clear grease, roots, scale, sludge, and debris from sewer and drain lines
• Diagnose blockages and pipe conditions using sewer/drain camera inspection equipment
• Locate line breaks, bellies, root intrusions, and other defects and document findings
• Clear and clean residential and commercial drain lines, main sewer lines, and laterals
• Set up and break down equipment safely at each job site, including managing water supply and containment
• Perform routine maintenance jetting for commercial accounts (restaurants, grease lines, etc.)
• Communicate clearly with customers about the problem found, work performed, and recommended follow-up
• Complete accurate work orders, invoices, and inspection reports (including video/photo documentation)
• Maintain jetting trailers/trucks, hoses, nozzles, and related equipment in clean, working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols, including proper PPE use
• Coordinate with plumbers and dispatch on repairs beyond the scope of cleaning
