Job summary

REIC Rentals seeks an Engine Rebuild Technician to diagnose, disassemble, inspect, clean, refurbish, and rebuild failed jet-powered heating systems, restoring them to factory condition.

Applicants should have a strong mechanical background, experience rebuilding engines, and the ability to read technical drawings. The role offers a safe, technologically advanced shop environment with ongoing training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical degree or certification in Aviation Maintenance or Powerplant Technology preferred.
• Professional experience rebuilding aircraft, turbine, diesel, industrial, automotive, or racing engines strongly preferred.
• Technical school engine rebuilding experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble engines and related components and inspect for wear or damage.
• Clean and restore engine components to factory standards.
• Rebuild jet-powered heating units using salvaged and new parts.
• Test and diagnose engines before and after rebuilds to verify performance.
• Document teardown, parts used, and inspection findings accurately.
• Maintain organized inventory and shop area; support engineering and quality teams.
