Job summary

ATOPS is seeking an experienced Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our on-site team in Miami, FL. You will perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft airframe and powerplant systems in accordance with FAA regulations and OEM specifications.

This full-time role involves documenting all work, maintaining maintenance records, supporting AOG situations, and collaborating with technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues on the hangar floor.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in turbine engine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair.
Hands-on aircraft maintenance for both airframe and powerplant systems.
Solid understanding of hydraulics, avionics, pneumatics, fuel, and environmental controls.
Compliance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and company procedures.
Knowledge of aircraft structures, materials, and corrosion prevention.
Valid FAA A&P certificate.
Experience on commercial or regional jet aircraft preferred.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and drawings.
Detail-oriented with a safety mindset in a fast-paced on-site environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft airframe and powerplant systems per FAA and OEM specs.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and detailed inspections.
Document all work and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve issues and support AOG situations.
