Reports to: Store Director

Classification: Non-union / Salaried-exempt, $78,000 - $83,000 / year, based on experience

Hours: Sunday – Saturday

Assist the Store Director with store operations to meet company standards. Help ensure cost controls, profitability, low turnover, engaged employees, and a superior customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Department Manager experience
  • Proven success managing gross profit, inventory, and labor
  • Ability to coach, develop, and provide timely feedback to team members
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Desire for continuous learning and development for future growth

Critical Competencies:

  • Overall: Develop leadership teams to maximize customer satisfaction, sales, profits, and manage labor effectively.
  • Merchandising: Lead teams to execute merchandising initiatives, ensuring relevance and maximizing sales and profits.
  • Financial: Achieve and exceed financial metrics through team accountability.
  • People Development: Coach and develop staff to create an engaged workforce.

This salaried position is eligible for an annual bonus. Schedule requires a minimum of 26 Sundays per year. Support from the current Store Director is required.

Supervisory Responsibility: Multiple non-exempt direct reports.

Position Type/Hours: Full-time, days and hours vary, including weekends. Long hours and occasional weekend work are expected.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent physical activity includes lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling, equipment operation, reaching, standing, turning. Occasional activity includes lifting over 50 lbs., walking, squatting, bending.
