Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily inbound and outbound operations at our Edgewater Park facility. This role requires strong leadership, process improvement skills, and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processing of shipments.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of warehouse associates, including shift planning, task delegation, and performance management.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve shipping and receiving workflows to increase speed, accuracy, and organization.
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff to meet operational standards and maintain high service quality.
  • Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, shipment timeliness, and inventory movement; address any deviations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and system (WMS) procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for coordination with other departments including inventory control, quality assurance, and customer service.
  • Communicate operational updates and company policies to team members in a clear and consistent manner.
  • Assist the department manager with reporting, audits, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with WMS or ERP systems strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse functions including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
