Job summary

Sensient Technologies in St. Louis, MO is seeking a JD Edwards Sr. Solution Architect to design, test, and deliver ERP solutions for Supply Chain Planning.

You will partner with business process owners and key users to define requirements and ensure solutions meet them. The role requires a strong background in JD Edwards or similar planning tools, excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams, and the ability to manage projects globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Consumer Products or Food Manufacturing.
• 5+ years in a senior analyst role designing and implementing ERP solutions, specifically JD Edwards and/or similar Supply Chain Planning tools.
• Strong experience with software requirements definition, development and QA methodologies.
• Excellent communication to both technical staff and non-technical business users.
• Customer service skills and ability to work in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with end users and management to define business requirements and functional specifications; assess benefits/risks of changing technology.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and new processes.
• Develop and manage relationships within IT and with business leaders.
• Ensure delivery of service requests with regular user updates.
• Develop robust UAT plans and own user acceptance testing.

We are looking for a JD Edwards Sr. Solution Architect to join our team in St. Louis, MO. If you enjoy designing, testing, and delivering solutions for Supply Chain Planning in JD Edwards, this position is for you. This position includes working closely with the business-based process owners and key users to ensure that requirements are well defined and that solutions meet those requirements. This role provides subject matter expertise on the related business processes, configuration and data structures within the JDE ERP systems and bolt on Planning applications.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with end users and management to define business requirements and functional specifications. Research emerging solutions and technologies and creates assessments of key benefits and risks of changing technology.
• Experience in identifying opportunities for process optimization, process redesign and/or development of new processes and policies.
• Develop and manage productive relationships within IT and with business leaders and staff.
• Ensures delivery of assigned service requests and regular communication with users during the delivery process.
• Ensures robust test plans are developed to support User Acceptance Testing. Serves as the IT owner of user acceptance testing.
• Ability to manage financial requirements for projects around the globe utilizing outside resource.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• A minimum of five years of experience, preferably in Consumer Products or Food Manufacturing.
• A minimum of five years of experience in a senior analyst role designing and implementing ERP solutions, specifically JD Edwards and/or similar Supply Chain Planning tools.
• Strong experience with various software requirements definition, development and quality assurance methodologies. Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong experience in successfully communicating concepts to both technical staff as well as non-technical business users.
• Strong customer service skills necessary. Must be able to interact with a diverse workforce and be comfortable working in culturally diverse settings and groups

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $155,000. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
