SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) Developer in Rockaway, NJ for a hybrid role. You will enhance and optimize E1 solutions, work with business users, and ensure high-quality delivery in a mature E1 environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of E1 development experience, strong FDA/UBE/NER skills, and hands-on exposure to E1 modules like SOP, Inventory, and Financials. This role offers a balance of office presence and collaboration with Enterprise Systems teammates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development, enhancements, and application support.
• Experience developing and modifying applications using FDA, UBEs, CBSFN, and Named Event Rules (NERs), along with tools such as OMW, UDOs, Orchestrator, and Retrofit.

Responsibilities

• Work with business users to understand requirements and develop JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) solutions.
• Develop and modify E1 applications and programs using FDA, UBEs, CBSFN, and NERs.
• Create and maintain reports using Developer Toolkit, Enterprise Report Writer, BI Publisher, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot and debug program issues with the E1 team.
• Develop, test, and maintain quality code following Oracle E1 development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, development testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Set up and monitor scheduled jobs; review E1 and JAS logs to identify issues.
• Contribute to project planning by defining development tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

LOCATION:

Rockaway, NJ - This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days a week in the office. Candidates should live within a reasonable commute or be willing to relocate as a condition of hire.

ROLE:

Reporting to the Director - Enterprise Systems, the Developer will improve system functionality, resolve technical issues, ensure quality and reliability, and help deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs. The Developer will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Enterprise Systems team in a mature E1 environment and contribute directly to projects that support core business operations

IDEAL PROFILE:

3+ years of professional experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), supporting multiple modules in a production environment. Strong hands-on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience and able to contribute with minimal ramp-up time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with business users to understand requirements and develop solutions using Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1).
• Develop and modify E1 applications and programs using FDA, UBE, NER, and C BSFN.
• Create and maintain reports using Developer Toolkit, Enterprise Report Writer, BI Publisher, and other reporting tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot and debug program issues, working with other members of the E1 team to resolve problems.
• Develop, test, and maintain quality code following Oracle E1 development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, development testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions work as expected.
• Set up and monitor scheduled jobs and review E1 and JAS logs to help identify and resolve issues.
• Contribute to project planning by helping define development tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

IDEAL BACKGROUND:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development, enhancements, and application support.
• Experience developing and modifying applications using Forms Design Aid (FDA), UBEs, C BSFNs, and Named Event Rules (NERs), along with tools such as OMW, UDOs, Orchestrator, and Retrofit.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2.
• Experience working with key business modules, including Sales Order Processing (SOP), Procurement, Inventory, and Financials (GL, AR, and AP).
• Experience with Embedded BI Publisher and database scripting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business users and technical team members.
• Experience with Business Services (BSSV), the IBM Blue Stack environment, or CNC is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
