Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an experienced JDE E1 Developer to enhance and support critical business operations by developing, customizing, and optimizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions in a hybrid NJ office.

The role involves working with an Enterprise Systems team, delivering robust E1 configurations, integrating modules, and ensuring system reliability to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development in a production environment.
• Experience developing/modifying E1 applications using FDA, UBEs, C BSFN, and NERs with tools like OMW/UDO/Orchestrator/Retrofit.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 and key modules (SOP, Procurement, Inventory, GL/AR/AP).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and develop E1 solutions.
• Develop and modify E1 apps and programs using FDA, UBEs, C BSFN, and NERs.
• Create and maintain reports with Developer Toolkit, Enterprise Report Writer, BI Publisher.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with the E1 team; ensure quality code and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Set up and monitor scheduled jobs; review E1/JAS logs to resolve issues.
• Assist in planning development tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

LOCATION:

Rockaway, NJ – This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days a week in the office. Candidates should live within a reasonable commute or be willing to relocate at their own expense as a condition of hire.

ROLE:

Reporting to the Director - Enterprise Systems, the Developer will improve system functionality, resolve technical issues, ensure quality and reliability, and help deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs. The Developer will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Enterprise Systems team in a mature E1 environment and contribute directly to projects that support core business operations

IDEAL PROFILE:

3+ years of professional experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), supporting multiple modules in a production environment. Strong hands-on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience and able to contribute with minimal ramp-up time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with business users to understand requirements and develop solutions using Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1).
• Develop and modify E1 applications and programs using FDA, UBE, NER, and C BSFN.
• Create and maintain reports using Developer Toolkit, Enterprise Report Writer, BI Publisher, and other reporting tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot and debug program issues, working with other members of the E1 team to resolve problems.
• Develop, test, and maintain quality code following Oracle E1 development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, development testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions work as expected.
• Set up and monitor scheduled jobs and review E1 and JAS logs to help identify and resolve issues.
• Contribute to project planning by helping define development tasks, timelines, and deliverables.

IDEAL BACKGROUND:

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development, enhancements, and application support.
• Experience developing and modifying applications using Forms Design Aid (FDA), UBEs, C BSFNs, and Named Event Rules (NERs), along with tools such as OMW, UDOs, Orchestrator, and Retrofit.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2.
• Experience working with key business modules, including Sales Order Processing (SOP), Procurement, Inventory, and Financials (GL, AR, and AP).
• Experience with Embedded BI Publisher and database scripting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business users and technical team members.
• Experience with Business Services (BSSV), the IBM Blue Stack environment, or CNC is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university
