At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently hiring a QA Lab Technician based in Jacksonville, Florida!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicating effectively with other departments, management, and employees, including notifying appropriate teams when problems or concerns arise.
  • Performing analytical, chemical, microbiological, and allergenic analyses, both routine and episodic.
  • Providing oversight for facility systems and supporting the development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of quality checks and programs.
  • Monitoring, operating, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing laboratory instruments and equipment independently.
  • Attending and practicing all required training.
  • Applying root cause analysis and supporting sustainable solutions.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, including creating SOPs, work instructions, preventative maintenance standards, and participating in improvement events.
About You
  • You will have an Associate or Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, Food Science, or a comparable program.
  • You will achieve and maintain required certifications and training.
  • You will have the ability to learn all job functions within a reasonable timeframe.
  • You will be able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • You will have proficiency with basic laboratory equipment (pipettes, pH meters, balances).
  • You will be capable of troubleshooting tasks.
  • You will have proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
