Short Intro and About the Job

At Danone, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Maintenance Tech based in Jacksonville, Florida.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Performing predictive and reactive maintenance and implementing continuous improvement opportunities with equipment controls, logics, and instrumentation, adhering to reliability-centered maintenance methodology and standard practices.
• Training operators on maintenance techniques when troubleshooting or repairing equipment.
• Becoming and maintaining SME status around component-level training with operators.
• Completing preventative maintenance and other reliability tasks, assisting in diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds of machines; partnering with engineering or others on non-routine repairs and defect handling solutions.
• Utilizing root cause analysis to ensure sustainability of corrective actions and improvements to drive asset reliability.
• Effectively completing PMs as scheduled to eliminate unplanned downtime.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, including creating and documenting SOPs, Work Instructions, preventative maintenance standards, writing One Point Lessons, and engaging in continuous improvement events like CILT (Clean, Inspect, Lube, and Tighten).

About You

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field preferred.
• 8-10 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work various hours and shifts.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
