Base pay range

$52.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Jave Developer with Flowable experience. This is a remote (MST/Arizona time preferred) role. This is a high-priority backfill role with a fast-moving timeline, offering the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects from day one. The initial focus will be on Flowable-related development, with the role expanding into broader engineering responsibilities over time. Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and optimize complex software implementation projects
• Gather and analyze system requirements and develop tailored software solutions
• Review enhancement requests and technical specifications
• Customize and implement system software to meet business needs
• Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans
• Develop and test new programs and modify existing ones
• Create migration packages for testing and deployment
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and post-implementation validation
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in both new and legacy systems
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Flowable (BPMN/DMN modeling) - must-have
• Java & Spring Boot experience
• Node.js experience
• API and database integration experience
• Docker & Kubernetes experience
• CI/CD pipeline development experience
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with large systems design and development
• Proven troubleshooting and unit testing capabilities
• Some experience with C# would be a big bonus but is no required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
