Job summary

Cystems Logic is seeking a Principal AI - Software Engineer in Bothell, WA for a long-term contract. You will drive end-to-end AI-enabled software development, focusing on JavaScript full-stack delivery and AI integration.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in full-stack roles, strong AI/ML expertise, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms and modern tooling. This onsite role requires local candidates and coding interviews at the client site.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in full-stack development including front-end, back-end, and DB tech.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java, Next.js, Node.js, React.
• Strong GenAI/LLM experience with MCP, Vector DB, and RAG.
• Cloud exposure: GCP, Azure, AWS; OpenStack, Terraform, Ansible/Chef.
• Experience with LLM observability, analytics, and annotation tools.
• AI/ML development experience.
• Databases like Cassandra, MongoDB or similar.
• Microservices, REST APIs, caching experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes familiarity.
• Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Nexus, JFrog, Sonar).
• Unit testing with JUnit, Mockito/JMock, Selenium, Postman.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and leadership.
• Mentoring and technical leadership experience.
• Nice-to-have: DialogFlow, Vertex AI, GraphQL, BigQuery.

We need a solid line of JavaScript based full stack candidates. Not Java based full stack.

5 to 10 years of experience, ideally 7 to 10 years.

Who has a detailed understanding of software development, design, and architecture.

Have expertise in JavaScript, Node JS, React JS and React Native. Experience with Python is added value.

Experience working with cloud technologies, GCP, and Azure.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in full stack software development, including front-end, back-end, and database technologies

• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Next JS, Node.js, React js
• Strong working experience with GenAI, LLM Models, MCP, Vector DB, RAG, Vertex AI, Agentic AI frameworks like NGA, ADK or LangChain/LangGraph, creating AI agents.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git, and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, Nexus, JFrog or Sonar
• Strong experience in Unit and Function testing using Junit, Mockito/JMock, Selenium, Robot, Cucumber, SoapUI or Postman
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and providing technical leadership to other engineers.
• Nice to have skills: Google CCAI platform (DialogFlow), Vertex AI, Graph QL, BigQuery, Conversation Graph, LLM as Judge.
