Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an experienced JavaScript Developer to evaluate and improve AI-generated code, ensuring correctness, efficiency, and adherence to ES6+ standards. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role with 10–40 hours per week.

You will review AI-produced code, craft high-quality JS solutions, and provide clear explanations of your reasoning. Must have 3–5 years with modern JS frameworks and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Vue.
• Strong knowledge of core JavaScript concepts including async/await, closures, prototypal inheritance, and DOM manipulation.
• Comfortable writing clean, well-reasoned code and explaining your thinking clearly in writing.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred.

About The Role

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• Deep familiarity with core JavaScript concepts — async/await, closures, prototypal inheritance, DOM manipulation, and more
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Vue
• Comfortable writing clean, well-reasoned code and explaining your thinking clearly in writing
• Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic approach to spotting what’s wrong and why
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training or evaluation projects
• Familiarity with TypeScript or other JavaScript-adjacent technologies
• Background in code review, technical writing, or software quality assurance
• Exposure to backend JavaScript environments and RESTful API development
